Blackship Realty is a Tokyo-based real estate agency specializing in high-end properties for both locals and expats, that also operates the popular Tokyo Portfolio YouTube channel. In the latter half of 2024, after relocating to a brand new office in the centre of Tokyo’s esteemed Hiroo neighbourhood, Blackship Realty sought to elevate their brand identity through a comprehensive rebranding initiative, appointing Sensu Studio to handle the staff portraits, web and advertising photography.
To align with Blackship Realty’s vision of being approachable yet professional, we created a cozy, inviting atmosphere by emphasizing warm tones and lush greenery through staging and colour grading. The resulting photos create a visual narrative that feels both familiar and aspirational, appealing to their diverse and upmarket clientele.
In addition to the portraits and interior photography, Sensu Studio also designed a full-page ad published in Tokyo Weekender Volume 4, 2024, post-card sized flyers and an eye-catching advertisement signboard displayed at Hiroo Station to enhance local visibility.
This collaboration not only refreshed Blackship Realty’s image, but also positioned them as a top choice for discerning property buyers and renters in Tokyo.
