Sensu Studio partnered with Nice Things magazine to bring their thoughtful storytelling from the printed page to video. Known for its quiet focus on daily life, craftsmanship, and rural Japan, the magazine's goal is to connect more with international audiences and strengthen its digital presence.

For our first collaboration, Sensu Studio created two short videos for Issue 82, following the magazine’s tone; calm, simple, and people-focused. The first video covered a small antiques-and-flowers shop in Minami-Aoyama, Haiiro Ookami, while the second video took a look at the contemporary craftsmanship of Stained Glass Moineau, an atelier in the Nezu neighbourhood of Tokyo.

Through this partnership, Sensu Studio aims to help Nice Things build a long-term digital presence where video becomes a natural extension of their editorial voice, allowing their stories to reach new audiences in Japan and abroad.
