The Swiss Embassy in Japan entrusted Sensu Studio to produce a dynamic social media video marking the conclusion of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, where the Embassy had been actively promoting Swiss innovation through the Swiss Pavilion. The pavilion offered visitors an immersive experience under the theme “From Heidi to High-Tech”, celebrating Switzerland’s evolution from its iconic Alpine heritage to a globally recognized hub of technology and creativity.
The campaign’s goal was to encourage visitors and followers of the Swiss Pavilion to continue following the Swiss Embassy’s social media accounts, where they remain active in promoting Swiss innovation, creativity, and cultural exchange in Japan through their Vitality.Swiss program. The project also aimed to maximize reach, ensuring that as many people as possible could engage with this final Expo asset.
The result is an engaging social media video featuring live-action footage, motion graphics, and animation depicting Heidi carrying a “baton” of sorts from the Pavilion in Osaka to the Swiss Embassy in Tokyo.
For the shoots in Osaka, Sensu Studio coordinated production remotely, preparing detailed storyboards and a shot list to guide the local team there. Sensu Studio also oversaw the creation of the animation sequences, designing theme-based coloured icons and visual word transitions to ensure a cohesive, high-impact final asset,
The campaign generated over 440,000 views across social media, along with thousands of meaningful interactions. Viewer comments reflected excitement for the Swiss Pavilion and appreciation for the Embassy’s ongoing activities in Japan.
