Following our previous collaboration with Seames, Sensu Studio was entrusted with capturing stills and video footage of Uniqlo’s “RE.UNIQLO International Repair Day Event.” Held on October 19th, 2024, this event celebrated International Repair Day by promoting workshops and activities at RE.UNIQLO Studio locations across eight countries and regions.

In Japan, the event focused on teaching participants creative ways to repair and care for their garments, including the traditional Japanese technique of “sashiko” stitching for clothing remakes. The initiative encouraged people to extend the lifespan of their favourite pieces, so as to align with Uniqlo’s commitment to sustainability and mindful consumption.

Sensu Studio was tasked with providing high-quality stills and video footage of the event for media outlets unable to attend. To meet tight deadlines, we coordinated closely with the Seames team to deliver all press-ready materials on the same day.

This collaboration highlighted the importance of sustainable fashion while showcasing Sensu Studio’s ability to execute timely content production for global brands.
